It’s not Christmas without lights! Explore Perth City and discover the amazing Christmas light installations; from Santa’s train, to a gingerbread house, children’s rides and more. The trail will be bigger than ever this year, with 26 new installations added to the route.

The kids will love creating special Christmas gifts, like DIY Christmas gift tags and Christmas tree decorations, at Forrest Place. Best of all, the $10 ticket is redeemable anywhere in the city! Plus, do your Christmas shopping in the city on weekends and take advantage of a free gift-wrapping service!

Santa Mailbox
Deliver your letters to Santa at our very special Santa Mailbox! Santa will even reply to you – just be sure to write a return address so Santa knows where to send your letter.
*All letters must be stamped, and addressed to Santa, North Pole, 9999.

Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant

The Perth City Christmas Pageant has been a tradition among Perth families for years, dating back to 1959. Travelling through the streets of Perth, you can expect to see dancers, Fat Cat, Perth celebrities and of course Santa himself! This is a free event but be sure to get there early with a picnic to nab a good spot.

Christmas Nativity

Watch as the traditional story of Christmas comes to life, with over 100 performers and live animals. The nativity will be hosted in the Supreme Court Gardens, for a magical Christmas evening.

Free Christmas films are returning to Northbridge Piazza! Enjoy a range of family movies on the big screen, while you sit on one of the bean bags with some popcorn and snacks.

Cathedral Square Christmas Markets

Take home a piece of WA at the Cathedral Square Christmas Markets. Offering stalls from purely local supplies, selling crafts, homewares, gourmet food and decorations. Enjoy the markets from 5pm Fridays, before enjoying late night shopping in the city.

WASO Christmas Symphony

With more than 150 performers joining together on stage, you can be sure that the WASO Christmas Symphony will blow you away. Pack a picnic to enjoy at Langley Park from 5pm, the show will kick off at 7pm filled with classical and Christmas music, and a fireworks-filled finale under the stars.
