The Honey Cake

The Honeycake entered the Perth foodie scene with a humble stall at the Fremantle Markets. Since then, The Honeycake built a cult following and opened its flagship store at the State Buildings. What is Honey Cake you might ask? Well to put it simply, the cake is comprised of lashings of caramel crème between thin layers of baked honey cake, topped with crushed walnuts and honey flavoured crumbs. YUM! The popularity of the original Honeycake has lead to new flavours like Cacao or Pandan Coconut.

Pretzels are traditionally considered a savoury item, but this sweet little shop in a cute pink shipping container offers both sweet AND savoury flavours… WINNING! Why not try both? Our favourite is the Lemon Maple Pecan doughnut. There are two locations within walking distance to the city centre to choose from – QV1 Plaza and Allendale.
